Original full size Spyderco DYAD info needed.

The only gripe I had about the first C-44 Dyad was that it didn't have a solid hole and/or attachement for lanyard use>> I find that to be a problem because I'm aquainted with two guys who use them in the fishing industry where losing one overboard is always a looming problem. I guess a guy could devise one of you own with some simple modifications but I'm wondering why Spyderco never covered that base in the original model? I still find a double bladed model to be a very nice cutting tool for many uses>> but it is something that they could improve in certain areas IMO.

I never thought of that but your right. Guess you could hook a lanyard through the thumbhole of the blade you use the least. I know it could accidentally engage a blade, but you wouldn't loose a knife while fishing.
