Original Manix - Wow, really?

Just spotted a "for sale" thread in one of the classified sections, and thought I saw a PE Manix sell for $250. Is that really how much they're bringing these days?

If so, I'm sure glad I squirreled away an extra NIB when I heard they were going to be discontinued. The original Manix is my favorite Spyderco of all time.

Don't shun the new Manix until you've held it in your hand.
I have a feeling that once you do, you're not going to wanna let it go.

All that jimping is just a dirt/dust/pocket lint magnet. The open construction doesn't really appeal to me, it's too small, and unless it's a FFG, there's no way I'd touch one.

Other than the name, I see very little about the Manix 2 that resembles the original Manix.

A NIB F/G Manix with a collector # went for 228 on eBay a few days ago.

A couple of weeks back I saw a factory 2nd C95 go for $225 on the 'bay.
