I am reluctantly putting one of my Grail knives up for sale, in an effort to fund (you guessed it) another Grail. This is an original Morseth 3 piece stag hunter, made in the early 60's by Harry himself. It is in remarkably good condition, some obvious scuffs on the laminated steel blade notwithstanding. The stag is what sets this knife apart, though. It is pretty much flawless: no checks or cracks, minimal shrinkage at the spacers, solidly against the nickel silver guard. Then there's the Safe-Lok sheath- no torn lacing, "lock" flexible, liner intact. Back of the sheath marked with a previous owner's name, maker's mark clearly legible. The lamination lines on the blade are faint, but visible; the knife is not held firmly by the fiberite, and while it does not fall out, it does rattle some. So... Asking $450 shipped/insured. This is not a common knife- I've been on this board 8 years and never seen another one like it advertised for sale. If it does not sell, I will not be upset. Paypal ok, questions to: mm71348@yahoo.com. As always, thanks for looking!
