Up for sale, favorite knives from two of my favorite makers: RJ Martin and JW Smith (JWS SOLD now):
RJ Martin Zing -- the ORIGINAL, according to RJ the man (see photo with the actual knife in his hand). RJ himself told me that this was one of the first, if not the very first Zing he ever made -- he remembered it because of the unusual recurve blade. The action is unbelievable -- he said that this was the spark that fueled his passion for amazing flippers. A real icon in the history of one of the most storied and revered makers. G10 Zing's without this history go for $700 -- let's move this one for a very fair price of only $795.
{SOLD} RJ Martin Modulator in S110V. Perfect everything. Great everyday carry with stonewash finish. Action is sublime, as you expect. S110V is unbelievably sharp; never cut anything but paper. Really fantastic piece I've felt proud to own. Recently picked-up a Q36, so moving this on to the next lucky owner for just $SOLD.
{SOLD} JW Smith Dagger flicker. Among other things, JW is known for that unique and characteristic "THUNK!" sound on opening, and this is no different. Hand-ground, hand-rubbed satin finished dagger edge is equally impressive -- it's so perfect, it's hard to believe he really does it all by hand! Black carbon fiber handles, titanium liners. Egg shell bolsters (note very light carry mark in photo -- this one was lightly carried, but has never cut anything but air). Perfect centering, perfect lockup. This is a big knife -- a full 4" long. Comes with very nice, thick zipper case (as shown). $SOLD.
All three knives are for-sale or for interesting trade. All include carry cases. Prices are net, but I'll pay U.S. shipping. Buyer pays fees and insurance (if requested). I stand behind every sale: If not exactly as-advertised, I take it back no questions. Positive feedback given and expected. Please only send comments/questions to P.M. or email octovium{aht}me{daht}com.
Thanks, guys!
