Original Steel Heart E Vs. Second Generation Steel Heart E . . . DESIGN COMPARISON

I couldn't be happier about having another SH-E coming. This was the first Busse knife I ever bought. The new scales do look to be more comfortable. Glad it'll just be a couple more weeks right, I can hardly wait.

Dam, dam, double damnation!!! I was just about to the point that I was ready to pass this one up. But those comparisons, just what I (DIDN'T) need.... That's a damn fine knife!

i don't suppose you could PROMISE it will be at least 6 months before these will be ready?... :o

Thanks for the comparison Boss! Any chance we could get a spine shot showing the handle contours?

Interesting patina. How did you get the SYKCO to look like that? Onions?

Here's a quick spine shot and one other profile with an ASHBM added. The thicknesses on these should be .25 TRASH1, .20 SH-E (ZT Varient), .26 TG, .32 ASHBM unless I'm mistaken. The TRASH1 was etched, stripped, choil rounded, edge convexed, and patined with yellow mustard. Sorry about the pics, I just threw them together early this morning.

Thanks Boss for the CAD overlay....I love the ERGO's....need to follow up with a new BAe??!!!!...

The ZT variant pictured above looks to be a saber grind to me...the other SH-e looks to be flat.
