Greetings,
I collected knives about 15 years ago when Swamp Rat was just getting going. I have not been collecting recently and just started looking back at the knives I had locked away. Is there a market for older knives?
I did not record the name and price I paid for the knives. Is this the proper forum to help identify the knives.
Here is an interesting example of one that I have:https://photos.app.goo.gl/3Botr25mJwEy4uTm1

I apparently not posting correctly. I did the image tag and address but it is not showing

I like guys like that. My favorite gunsmith shop is generations of guys that have worked that same shop across the court house square in Abilene tx.

Mike Thourot is an awesome maker and an old friend of Jerry's. The year those knives came out Mike, Jerry and I managed to sneak away from the booth and find a quiet bar in the Waverly. (Prolly around 10am, lol.) drank em out of Johnny Gold, then Black, and all I remember is laughing so hard my face was sore for a week. Mike has a sense of humor like Jerry.
He's also the only other maker to use infi. He also did the handles on the infamous "Piano Keys".
BTW DANNY B; the real name of the first knife you posted is the Safari Dog, humorously nicknamed the Dog Skinner by I forget who:rolleyes:.
They were part of the "Through the Hands of a Master" series, the other being the Rat Tail, hand wrapped by Wally Hayes.
