Original Team Gemini pic request

No where did I say it was..... Tglb= team Gemini light brigade. It is from knob creek 2014. Everything I wrote made sense to me.... What's the confusion

Ok I understand now, I didn't know the forum po po were called.

So explain the difference between the knives in the photos and mine, see I thought nobody could be militant enough to care, really.... Was it worth your time to type that or were you just the hall monitor at school?

In the title, the request was for original TG pix, but don't give it another thought. :) All good! Oh s***... I'm the po-po...how'd that happen? :D

Woah there buddy. This forum isn't one of those super aggro ones. You are in good company. I pointed it out because it's a common mistake. A lot of people find out about Busse because of the TGLB not realizing there was an original Team Gemini. The original post was about the original so I figured you missed that. No big deal.

ETA: nice knife. I'm a big fan of blue/black G10. Also a big fan of stripped blades. I usually strip mine too.

Not aggro but there are lots of fullers on that page, just wondering how you fell on my name to call out. I can read and am not an idiot last checked. If there are pics of other stripped Gemini light brigade I will post, in future, especially if most all pics include a stripped and used team Gemini light brigade. Again not angry I'm just at the age where needless policing is more dangerous for the other guy. Full disclosure, I'm not getting nicer, I know this. I'm working on it....

Jaxx you are the hall monitor, that is funny, your collection is sick... I hope to someday have 1 of each of the designs and variants. I could never however catch up to your stellar collection, keep up the good work.

The original TG and TGLB look very similar and it takes a keen/educated eye to spot the differences (as so much of that is under the grips), the grind and fuller profile (both have fullers) leap out however.

The original fuller is slightly shorter in length, is that right. I need an original but need others first, I know people here know what I mean.... So many wants

I don't have TG to compare to my TGLBs but it is less about length (as I see) as to how the grind of the TG and TGLB differ (the later being slightly hollow ground) and how that profile meets with the fuller vs how the conves grind of the orginal looks. If that makes any sense at all... ;)

Yours is the only pic of a TGLB. Every other one is an original TG. The original post asked for original TG pics. Yeah you sounded pretty aggro. If you don't see how you came off as aggro maybe go re-read your posts. All I said was that yours isn't an original TG. If you knew that despite the request for original TG it's fine. I ain't mad atcha. I was never a hall monitor. As I said, a lot of people don't know the difference. I "singled you out" because I thought you might be interested in learning that there is a difference between those 2 models. Now that I've clarified that there was no ill will and even complimented your knife, can we get past this confusion?

Assuming others are ignorant is not something to flaunt. I know there are two models. Should I have prefaced my original message with I know this is not a team Gemini? For who? You? Nobody else said anything....

If I listed mine as a team Gemini then you could have blasted away but I didn't. So because I know mine is a light brigade it would stand to reason that I know the differences. Regardless, parent your children, not someone else's, that should sound aggro enough.

Good lord, your insecurities are showing. Don't be so defensive.

You asked why I "called you out" when there are lots of fullers on that page. Even though you keep telling us you know the difference (and I really couldn't care less if you do or don't at this point) it sounds like you don't. The fullers between the OG and LB are almost identical. It's not the fullers that make them obviously different. It's the grind. And BTW, there are lots off fullers on that page but they are all the same except yours. I'm not sure where you are going with the fuller issue. The only TGs without fullers that I know of were the Blade show 2014 model and the recent BIG TG which looks to be the same as the Blade show version but with the BIG finish. (How's that for a run on sentence?):p

Let's give a breakdown of how this argument happened.

1. OP asked for Original TG pics.

2. A few people posted pics of Original TG.

3. You posted a pic of a TGLB.

4. I mentioned that yours wasn't an Original TG.

5. You got super rude and defensive.

People come to the Busse forum to discuss Busse knives. I love Busse knives and I assume you do as well. I pointed yours out as part of a discussion. Not a personal attack. I'm not calling you stupid for not knowing the difference if in fact you didn't. I would never call anyone stupid for not knowing the difference. Like I said before, it's a common mistake. I thought you or others that didn't know the difference, might be interested in learning that there is a difference. You already know the difference? Fine. Maybe say that and move on. Getting all angry that someone thought you didn't know the difference is pretty crazy. Now can we get past this ridiculous argument?

That was originally a tanker gray coated blade. I stripped it some time ago and over the last couple of years with use it's formed a cool looking patina.

I know you are half the world way from me and I do not know how to bring the knife here, but if you ever consider selling the knife please let me know.

I like your "OG" moniker designation. OGTG and TGLB are different enough to keep them from getting confused.

Rob Stanley was the inovator of the TGHB name. Team Gemini Heavy Brigade. I think it is a more suiting name for first lineage of the Gemini.
