Up for grabs is a lightly used Orion Knives Drop Point Hunter with a pinned caribou antler handle. Blade is 3 1/2" and made of 52100 steel (ball bearing steel that makes for one of the best knife steels anywhere--Bussekin SR101 is 52100 with a proprietary heat treat). This is a great little hunting knife, but I have more great little knives than I or my children (or probably even future grandchildren) will use so I'm passing this along. I used this to process a couple of deer, and there's a light scratch along the length of the blade--probably from a particularly heavy rib cage--and one or two small spots of patina (absolutely not rust)--but the edge is still original (at least I don't remember sharpening it) and the blade is in overall great shape.
52100 steel with a a caribou antler grip--truly a unique knife with a LOT of character. One you'd be proud to pass along to your kids or grandkids. Comes with the pictured leather sheath.
Orion Knives is a small manufacturer out of Michigan. Not sure if they are still under that name any longer, but the company is still around.
Asking SOLD paypaled and shipped.
First unconditional "I'll take it" followed by a PM or email gets it.
Please keep all questions comments and offers private and out of this thread (I'm set up to take emails or PMs).
Thanks for looking!
