• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Orvis Axe?

Yep, it's a good one. Basically the same as a Wetterlings, just different branding.

For that price, though, do not buy it. You can get a higher quality Gransfors Bruks for that kind of money. Or for half the price, you can get the same axe with Wetterlings markings on it.

This axe is made by Hults Bruk of Sweden. They have been making axes for a very long time. This one is from their traditional axe series. They also make the Agdor and Arvika 5 Star lines of axes. They were bought out by Hultafors a few years back, so now their axes have both the Hults Bruk stamp and Hultafors etching.

The reason why the price is so high is that they do not have a US distributor, which drives up the cost of anything you can find outside of continental Europe. They are very high quality axes.
