I have a knife that on one side of the blade is stamped Orvis 001 then on the other side is stamped Burganus over Charlton LTD it is a fix blade damascus does anyone know when it was made or the value I contacted the designer Burganus and Charlton LTD couple months ago I have not had a reply from either thanks for any help email me for pictures at arkansasnaturalstate@comcast.net

Contacted Orvis also a couple months ago they said it no longer shows up on there system

When it comes to knives, I'd trust Orvis's details just about as far as I could spit a hedgehog 
They advertised one of their knives recently as being "The Sharpest Knife in the World !" , so I contacted them and asked for some definitive proof of the claim...
Turns out they had decided that it must have been the sharpest knife in the world because the muppets they employ at their warehouse kept cutting themselves on them
