How did you (and/or anyone else, please) totally remove the blade etch from the Orvis pattada knife blade?

How did you (and/or anyone else, please) totally remove the blade etch from the Orvis pattada knife blade?

Hi Marty, I used a strip of 320grit wet/dry sandpaper on a piece of leather and moved the blade along it spine to edge in a strait line. This leaves a pleasing finish that can be touched up later if needed.
