This is the first knife I made with dovetailed bolsters and I like the way they turned out!

This knife feels great in my hands. There is an ever so slight convex on the lower 3rd of the blade for increased performance. I put a fine V edge on it with a secondary bevel. This thing is screaming sharp!

The black micarta bolsters really make the Osage Orange pop. My marginal pictures don't capture the beauty of this wood! Besides aesthetics, Osage Orange is a dense and very durable wood. It's not uncommon to find fence post made from Osage Orange that are still hard after being in the ground for 50 years or more!

There is a little spot below my makers mark where my etching pad touched and created a mark. Anyone who's handled it hasn't noticed it until I pointed it out. I ground it as much as I dared but there still a minute mark there. Doesn't affect the performance of this knife at all!

I'm including a hand made, custom Hermann Oak leather sheath with this knife. This is a new design for me and to keep the bushcraft theme going, I carved a little compass star on the upper 1/2 of the sheath! :)

Here's the specs on the Knife.

Steel: 1/8" Aldo's 1095. Convexed ever so slightly near the edge for better performance.
Handles: Osage Orange (Bodark to some, Bois d'Ark to others) with thick black G10 liner
Hardware: five 1/8" black Micarta Pins (3 in the Osage Orange and two in the bolsters), Bolsters are black Micarta
Blade Height: 1 1/8" at the ricasso
Blade Length: 4 3/4" from tip to scales with a 4 1/4" cutting edge
OAL: 9 1/2"

Includes my Common Sense Lifetime Warranty and Lifetime Free Sharpening. You only pay for shipping to me and back to yourself.

$150. This includes all PayPal fees (if paying by PayPal) and FREE USPS Priority Shipping to the U.S.! Payment via PayPal at donaldlawson@gmail.com or USPS Money Order.

This knife is posted elsewhere on the Internet, so the first one to reply "I'll take it", will be the new owner!

GOOD LOOKING KNIFE.
I like what you did with micata, especially the pins and at the back end of the handle.
NICE workmanship on the sheath.
SUPER MATERIALS.

Thanks Michael and Tim! I appreciate it. The handle on this knife is very comfortable, especially with gloves on. I've made it a little longer than usual because I have a friend who always says the 'beak' hits his pinky. This one has plenty of room for big hands or gloves!

I can't believe this is still available. Beautiful work Sir and if it wasn't right before Christmas, I would be all over it. Regards - WB

Thanks WB! I can't think of a better gift for that outdoor person on Santa's list than a Osage Orange Bushcraft knife! lol But that's okay, with warmer weather just around the corner someone will be putting this knife to good use sooner or later!
