Hey all,
I got a bunch more wood here for you. I've done my best to waste any flaws, but there may be a few pieces here with some minor cracks. If you can't work around them, let me know and I'll send you free replacements.

Sizes:

The scales are all about 3/8" thick, and the widths range between 1-5/8" and 2-3/8", while the lengths are either 5" or 6".

The smaller blocks are 1" by 1-1/2", and the lengths are either 5" or 6".

The larger blocks are mostly 6" long, with just a few being 5". Thicknesses range between 1-1/4" and 1-3/8", while widths range between 1-3/4" and 2-3/8".

The ends have been sealed to prevent checking. You should test the moisture content before using.

Scales are book matched.

Shipping will depend on how many you get. :)

I can take check, paypal, or money order.

If you need a size not listed here, I'd be happy to cut you some.

I promptly received a few of these after ordering. They are excellent quality. thank you Phillip.

This might be a dumb question but I'll ask it anyways. I live in Alaska and am hoping to find inexpensive wood that I don't feel bad about messing up while I'm learning how to make the first few. Would this be OK wood to do so? All I have is a home depot here so online seems to be the only option for purchasing. Also, approximately how many handles can each block do? 4?

Osage is a good wood to learn with. It's durable enough to make a good handle, but cheap enough that you won't be heart broken if you mess up.

Each block is meant to do one hidden tang style handle. I don't know what size handles you're making, so you might be able to get more out of them.

I'd like a couple of sets of scales. I guess I can't private message you unless I have a paid membership?

Yes, you can only PM if you're paying. I should have put my email in the first post: 2000pjp at gmail dot com.

PM sent! Good looking stuff Phillip, I love me some Osage!!
