Osiyo, I am once again home!

¥vsa, good to hear of your recovery!

Harry
(still on a long journey)

Many Thanks Harry! The pain is much improved although I wish my mobility would come back a lot quicker than it seems to be doing.
I took a spill on my walker/rollator last week and just slightly skinned a knee but it scared Barbie something awful and could have been much worse!
It's really good too see you around and hopefully you are able to take a break from your long journey, you have been sorely missed!!!!

It will come Yvsa.

My wife had her back surgery (spinal fusion) last november and she's about 90% back to normal.

She still has a little trouble bending over to pick something up off the floor, but she can do it, and almost all the pain is gone.

Give it time.

¥vsa, just take it one day at a time and enjoy life to the (khukuri) hilt. One of the big lessons I learned from Uncle Bill.

I just saw this.

I hadn't heard about your surgery and I'm very glad you are recovering so quickly.

Best, Steve

Yvsa, I'm thrilled to hear things are going so well!

You don't know this, but I frequently take your stories and experiences as a kind of inspiration for my own treatment. You know what's up with me, but knowing that some of my friends out here have gone through similar trials and come out on top is really encouraging. :)

Keep us posted, Yvsa, and all my best wishes to you and yours!

Thanks Chris and I wish I could say things were still going well byt they are not so much.:( It is getting increasingly harder to type and today hasn't been a good ay for moving arounad. I do go back tomorrow for more thearpy.

Point is, we're both falling apart in a whole lot of ways, but I think we share something, Yvsa. We both keep our faces to the future, accept that schitt happens, and keep on pluggin'. It's a hard and very painful path, but it'll get better. I really think that, for both of us. So much is in mindset, Yvsa. I've always respected your frankness about life, but also how you've dealt with hardship - God knows you've had your share. I just want you to know that I respect you greatly and that, up or down, your very nature is an inspiration.

Hang tough, Yvsa. We're all right here with you.

Chris
