I have a used Osprey Kestrel 38 (S/M) I'd like to sell or trade. The pack is in very good condition, and has only been used a handful of times. Mostly minor, weekend trips.
There are a butt load of features on this pack. The mesh back panel is very comfortable. There's a decent amount of organization - two stretch bottle pockets (tall water bottles don't work quite as well in the pockets), a mesh front pocket, two hip belt pockets, a larger zippered pocket on the hood and one zippered pocket under the hood. The pack loads from the top (stuff sack) and has plenty of room for a dayhike (2197 cu.in). I haven't used the rain cover on a trip, but I did open it up to try it out when it was originally bought (works great). There's space for a water bladder and lashing points on the front of the pack. There's also a lashing point for hiking poles but I never used that feature.
I made one minor modification to the hip belt strap. I'm a big guy, and when I had this pack on over a bulky coat, the hip snap buckle just barely fit - I extended the strap so I could get enough purchase to tighten it. I can remove this and re-sew the edge on the strap with only about an inch and a half worth of loss (wouldn't make a huge difference for any normal sized human beings
) or I can leave it on. I included pictures of the extra straps.
If you need any other details about the pack, just let me know - here's a pdf with the full breakdown of features. http://www.ospreypacks.com/user_manuals/Sp10_Kestrel_OM_1v.pdf
Edit***Here's a pretty good review of the pack (the review is on the M/L version) - http://www.outdoorsmagic.com/product-reviews/osprey-kestrel-38---tested/5182.html

I'm looking for 90 plus 6 for shipping...96 shipped (priority, confirmation, insurance). If you need a different method, please let me know. Now 70 shipped.SOLD.
Trades - I would be interested in a similar but slightly bigger hiking pack. I prefer fixed blades from various makers (I'm partial to BRKT). I'm open to other offers as well. Best way to contact me is email. PM works fine too, but I can respond faster by email.
Thanks
