OT about to get washed away in TX

I posted this in another thread, but we'very had 2 tornado warnings in as many nights. Plus, lots of flooding here in east tx. No end in sight for the rain either.

Parts of houston got 12 inches of rain in 5 hours. One of the bayous here went from 8 feet to 28 feet on the depth markers in a matter of hours.

It was very crazy. Seeing all the cars abandoned this morning was insane as well.
 
First it's a drought... now it's a flood... there's no making you flatlanders happy... see, in the mountains we have these things called streams, creeks and rivers to keep that from happening. :rolleyes: :p Just kidding, but seriously, that reminds me of late fall in the sandbox. Y'all stay safe and one would hope the rain should help a little bit for the rest of the summer, droughts are rough. :)
