OT: aliens

Neat, this can be just like last summer. Can we bring back the year old UFO, yeti, ghost, and loch ness monster threads?
 
Whistling dizzily overhead,
the saucer spins, I leap from bed,
the little green men float eerily,
I watch them waving, wearily.

It's always the same, they seem to say,
we're glad we came to Earth today;
but, don't you wonder, won't they stay?
They drift and tilt and go away.

It's always the same, they never speak:
I never hear a peep or a squeak.
Quietly staring, whatever they seek,
their alien eyes are always bleak.

It's always the same, I seem to dream,
like smoke that gleams in a fading beam.
Their eyes aglow, like wisps of steam,
and time goes by like a stagnant stream.

Whistling languidly, singing goodbye,
I wish you a pleasant trip, I cry.
The little green men float eerily,
I watch them waving, wearily.
 
You guys never seen a UFO? Ha! Stop looking at your feet when you walk. I saw about 3 UFO in Philladelphia when I was 17. They were flying in and out of a large storm cloud. I was amazed. At first I thought they were flying pieces of trash. But they were far too high in the sky. They would have to be small apartmants in the sky from the distance between me and the storm cloud. In typical UFO sighting fashion I pointed up at the sky and said, look, look, OFOs! And all the business men and women looked at me like I was nuts. They didnt look up, because they are to busy looking at their feet and eye level. A year later I had an encounter with 2 little green men in Binghamton NY at my moms house. They floated through they living room window, walked up to me when I frozen to the couch, couldnt scream, and the one walked up to me and put his long green hand with knobby fingers on my face and I woke up. Since then I sometimes get this weird feeling like they are trying to communicate in some strange language, but I cant really understand why they want to hang out with humans. I had a dream a while back, I was at their ship and other humans were boarding the ship, and I wanted to get on and they wouldnt let me on. It was kind of a let down, One of the humans said I had great things to accomplish here on earth and thats why. So why was I at the ship? Who cares.

I try to understand how all this came about. Did all these things really happen? Yes. But how did I get programmed to experience these things? Are Aliens and their spacecraft real? Or have I been brainwashed by the US government and TV? I dont know. There are things called vimanas that existed in ancient India. They even have anciant hyroglyphs in Egypt of helicopters planes and saucer shaped discs. If someone thinks that there couldnt have been a highly advanced society before ours they are nuts. Theres scientific proof that Mohenjo Daro was nuked. Oh one story from King Ashokas time talks about Ashokas great scientists. His great scientists came to him with anciant scriptures of how to make flying aircraft. Aircraft that could hover and attack from the sky, and transport to anywhere in the earths atmosphere. He said he didnt want anything like that to be made and that those scriptures be kept secret, because they can be used to create mass suffering. Ashoka stopped participating in war because he learned from experience after killing thousands in bloody battles. He became one of the most well known for his efforts in helping build Buddhist temples and supporting the Buddhist path. Dont even get me started on are UFOs real. Are Airplanes real?

Good catch. Let me go on to guess that it might be one of the Iridium satellites, because they're known for being particularly bright. Satellite-spotting can be fun, and unlike most endeavors, doesn't cost anything. Check out www.heavens-above.com for predictions for where you are.
 
That's Prophet Yahweh (whose name, by the way, means prophet of Yahweh :rolleyes: )--I started a thread about him a little while back.
 
None of the above..

You are looking at an out-of-focus airliner flying overhead at altitude. The camera and the lack of visual reference makes it look like it is bouncing around, but it is actually flying level in a straight line. The film is shot in the morning so the aircraft is in full sunlight while the park is only partially lit.

Notice the other airplane is flying in parallel, hence it just dropped out of the same flight path to land at a nearby airport.

It is pretty easy to summon a regularly scheduled airliner, so I think that part is covered.....next!

The universe is possibly at least about 165 billion light years in diameter (if there is an end, and if not then it is still growing). One light year is about 10 trillion kilometers. The possibility of there being other life out there is probable -- the possibility of them finding us, or vice versus is pretty impossible.
 
I dunno... I think that there is definitely life on other planets. And I think that we are almost certainly being studied by some of them. It makes sense. As for the video... I dunno. I didn't have time to watch it. I have a three year old and a two and a half year old couple of boys running around the house like the insane whackadoodles that they are. I'm typing this for a quick sanity break.

Time to go make sure that they don't break anything valuable!
 
There are many fruits in the basket we call Earth.

However, despite this particular fuitiness, there are indeed Aliens out there and they do indeed visit us.
I know, there are many experts of what is and is not possible on bladeforums.
Paul Hill says they are real and they are here.
Paul Hill was the lead research scientist at NASA Lanlgey Research Center for 25 years.
That trumps any opinion I have ever heard, here or at home...

So did I.

No aliens, though. That's the problem with all these opinions. They are, at best, extrapolations from what facts we have, and leave out the uncertainties we also have.

An opinion is only a guide to future investigation until it has facts in hand to support it. So many reports, so many cameras around, so few pictures, so many fakes ...
 
When the entire 6 man crew of an American Nuclear Bomber swears they were harrassed at 40,000 feet by a silent, 200 foot wide metallic disc, Id say there was something more than an easily discountable opinion.
 
Why wouldn’t they come here, we have to be one of the funniest shows in the galley.

Hey Zeboo if your every over near the milky way, you got to stop in on this planet called earth...you won't believe what goes on in that place!
Just don't feed them...

Aho! Hayv! Even the ones who retire to their humble abodes here on Earth, makes one wonder what they did on their home planets to get exiled.:rolleyes: :grumpy:
