I am one. I have a number of good flashlights. An Elektrolumens "TriStar Phazer" is one, with 3 LuxeonIIIs in it, running on NiMH batteries.

Several new SureFires, including an L4 with a 2-stage switch running on rechargables

and an Aleph 2 1X123

Not to mention a new Eternalight, numerous Streamlights including one Strion, several UK 4AA eLEDs (great for hiking and leaving in the cars), a Gerber LX3.0 which is a great around-the-house light.

How about y'all?

well.. I don't know if I qualify as a flashaholic or not but I do keep an Inova X5 and Surefire Centurion C3 on my person or in my bag at all times. I'm also in the process fo waiting for one of the luxeon drop in led mods for a 2AA maglite. I figure I'll add a click tail cap to that as well and give it to my girlfriend.

My fiendishly devious plan is to get her addicted to all my hobbies!

Hi my name is James and Im a flashaholic.
I have several Surefires 2 6P's, G2, and 2 9N's I use at work,(I'm a Police ofiicer) also have a Streamlight Strion, 20XP and Looking at a Inova T3 LED.
So guess I'm hooked almost as bad as HIKV.

I'm hooked on the cheap stuff: CountyComm $1 LED Lights
Photons were my gateway drug, but too expensive for mass use. With these cheap ones I can have a fix anytime.

Oh yeah, I've got about six Surefires around here too. And I will break my "no new toys" pledge if I see one of those Thors with the Ridiculous-million candlepower.

I thought I'd add a caution to your enthusiasm; in my observation, it is usually old men who collect a lot of flashlights.
I never heard of a young man with many of them before.

Sorry to prove you wrong there munk, but I'm working on a small collection here at a young age. So far I've got a Surefire L4, E1, and a 6P with plans to get a new LED head for the E1 and a bunch more Surefire's when I can afford them. The 6P is being raffled right now to raise money for a Surefire for my Dad to take to Iraq, but I'm sure I'll replace it sometime soon. I definitely prefer the new LED lights to Xenons, I just love the light output. The L4 went along on a little field exercise my unit did last week and turned out to be a big help. It worked better that Humvee headlights for lighting up our class instructor's presentation!

I have a total of three, a 4 D cell Maglite, a AA Maglite, and an old Military OD 2 D cell flashlight that we generlly use in the Sweatlodge and what I use too look at the TV guide with at 3:00 a.m. in the morning.;)

But I would love too have a slew full of these new-fangled bright beauty gadgets!!!!  :D

I like the Mag-lites, but would also like a new compact super powered LED.

This one is mounted in the lid of the driver side "saddlebag" of my Avalanche while the ugly and much abused and beat up 4-cell black one is within reach next to the seat. ;)

I keep hoping Yit will have either another contest *or* another child and name him "Mexico"

:D

I don't collect flashlights, but I do seem to accumulate them. ;) I don't hang around candlepowerforums as much as I used to, just like I haven't been hanging around here as much as I used to. Haven't I seen you over there, cognitivefun? Anyway, I was never a big poster over there.

I'm more or less in the process of changing over to (almost) all LED lights. I had been searching for years for something that was both small enough and bright enough to be useful for EDC. Now I EDC a photon on my keyring and an Arc AAA loose in my pocket with a Sebenza-style cord fob (about 2.5 feet of 2mm cord) to make it easier to find and hold. Other than those and a early Lambda Luxeon mod, I have mostly mass-market lights -- a bunch of Mags, a couple of the Brinkman 2x123 Xenons, one of those million candlepower (car headlight) jobbies and a random bunch of others stashed all over the place.

I had been looking for years for a good booklight -- bright enough, lightweight and easy on batteries, a hard combination, but I finally found a good 3-LED, 3xAAA one that I gave to my wife at Xmas. Now I have to find another of them. :) (The store only had one.)

Hi Congy :) My name is Gator and I am a flashaholic too, along with other holicisms.
I have that phaser, it's a good one. I posted mini review on my site in led section - led.zvis.com

Well, another flashaholic here. My first internet forum I decided to participate was Candlepowerforums.

I have:
2 minimags converted to 1W luxeon LED
1 ARC AAA
1 ARC LS2
1 ARC 4 second
1 Fire~Fly
1 Elektrolumens Tristar
1 Maglite Solitaire waiting for some mod
1 noname headlight waiting for mod as well

I tend to make flashlight mods myself. Its another hobby and relaxation.

Well then, I am 40 this year.

I wonder what will happen to you guys when you get old, already having the flashlight obsession covered?

munk

I've only got a Surfire G2 and a Black Diamond LED headlamp which is the best. Goes forever on a filling of batteries, puts out lots of light and allows your hands to be free.
