OT/ Black Ti

The wider blade looks great on the 7! How does it cut with such a low shoulder? With such a low shoulder, did you ever consider making it a scandi?

Thanks!^
If the grind was a zero, it would cut very well. Reese put on a secondary edge, just like Emerson, as I want to use this knife more as an EDC.
Does that help you out?

Nice Knife!!

Is that the first picture you've ever posted in 39,086 posts here on Bladeforums? Ha Ha :).

Seriously, I agree about the wider tanto blades from Emerson (but maybe not that wide); the wider blades just look better.

Thanks, bob7. I have posted other pix… I think. :D
The Ti blade is only a tad wider, about 1/8 of an inch.

That is a very nice knife. Unique and robust looking.
Whats up with that other 7 you mentioned.

How did I miss this for so long?! That looks great Rolf! Is the edge carbidized or is it just sharpened Ti?

Thanks!^
Pure Ti. On purpose. Reese can do the carbide if I want it.
She shaves, btw.

The RC, I am not sure. I will ask Reese.
Titanium cuts very well. It's very strong, light in weight and will never rust. Perfect, imo.
