Boudreaux passed the 20 Lb mark last tuesday. (His dad was over 80.)

When we got him:

That, sir, is a boxer, of course.

This is what we're going for:

Nice structure.
Did his charactor recover after the mauling?

Yea. He's just like before personality wise. I even let him play with another Boston Terrier (vile breed, JMHO) to make sure he didn't get a specific breed fear. I'd hate for him to eat someones little sh***ss dog someday. He handled it fine. If you look in the pics you can see three paralell scars on the bridge of his nose. There are also three little scars directly on his nose but you can't see them in the pics.

From a tiny and cute little guy to a strong, tall, and handsome dog! Love it!

I hope you two enjoy a long life together, Andy!

Dang good lookin pup, Andy!

He'll do. He's already real protective of the family. We had a campfire the other night in the neighbors backyard. He did the perimeter every so often. But his usual place was between us and the road. Alert and watchful. Its neato to see a dog followign their instincts.

nice looking dog. good to hear that he is falling into a comfortable place so nicely.

Fiddle, he is a wonderful looking beast. Its good to see that he has recovered well both mentally and physically.

I have two boxer crosses right now and they are wonderful dogs. Had a pure bred female years ago but had to put her down when she was 3 due to very bad colitis. Poor breeding has cursed these great boxer dogs with bad hearts and digestive tracks.

My favorite thing about this breed is its disposition with kids. As Stevo says though, you've got to get one from a reputable breeder.
