ROFLMAO..... :D

I was just wondering if UB would pop up with a "Good Stuff and Thanks".

Then I was gonna ask if he liked the dark meat better....

Anyone got any medications I can borrow until the drug store opens in the morning?

Yvsa,

What is the general feeling of Native Americans regarding so much of their spirituality being taken over by the new age movement? It seems to me like they take parts but don't embrace the whole.
Raggie said it.... "Most of the ndns I know are fed up with the new-age wannabes and don't even wish to share the customs, which might later be taken from them and perverted into something they were not intended to be."

The dayumed New Agers wanna add the chakras from the Eastern religions as well as bring other religions into the ndn beliefs. It's bullsh*t and pisses us off.
Our Lodge is open to all who want to participate but they are gently reminded where they are and who they are among if they try to disrupt the proceedings or say, "Oh! Let's do this?" when it's something they might have shared in a New Age Lodge. :grumpy:
I've only had it happen once.;)

Thanks for posting Rick's site Jeb. I used to have his site bookmarked but lost it along with all my other Goot Uns when my computer crashed.:(
I wish I could say I know him personally but I don't. We feel the same way about a lot of things though.:D

Im glad to help, even when I dont know im doing it.
That's sometimes the best kind Jeb. I used to hang out over on Native Web back when I had WebTV, but due to the trolls and such the webmaster changed the format of the forums and it just wasn't any fun anymore.
One of the ladies there named Emmia from Sweden came over and visited several of us that played on the board back then. Em was cool, not a wannabe and was widely accepted. Em came by here on her way to minnesota and set in a Lodge with us and we were honored to have her.
Em had a lot of friends in the ndn community, sad to say we haven't heard from Em in a long time.:(
I'm afraid for her as she had MS and the disease was catching up with her.
So not only did you help, you also brought back a ton of good memories.:)
Perhaps it's time I ambled off to Native Web for a visit and see if I can find out anything about Em....

I think the site mentioned Emmia from Sweden. Unfortunately, it doesnt look like its been updated since 2001. I hope she's alright.

I enjoyed the twinkie test. I dont think im a twinkie, but I must say that I did enjoy Dances With Wolves.

I checked it out and the old Native Web is still running albeit on a new server.:D
I posted a new message so maybe someone will remember me. Lobo had better as we've danced together at the IICOT powwow here in Tulsa. And I would sure like to get back on Curry's email newsletter. It could get hectic on a daily basis but was a lot of fun.:D Em still has her picture gallery up to and it's still listed on the site....
