OT - difference of opinion with doctor

SB - Just as soon as I get the new oosik handle on the Alleycat completed so I have an option as to which end to insert. ;)

And SB - my own dad died 27 years back at age 50 after a year or so of being given penicillin shots by a Minden osteopath to clear up infected lymph nodes. That didn't work too well, so he got a second opinion from UCLA med center. Second opinion was that he had terminal non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Second opinion was spot on.

On the other hand his little sister was about 12 years younger than him and the same older than me. She and I ended up closer and more a part of each other's lives than he got to be. Of course we had more time.

A stitch in time.....

Maybe I ought to get a Tshirt printed up that says, "I survived St. Mary's open heart surgery!" Rusty's making me think I might be tougher than I thought.

The effects of oxygen deprivation are cumulative, Uncle, but then maybe you haven't noticed. ( Part of the syndrome. );) :D :D :D

He said one word: "Polyps." Look that one up in your Funkin' Wagnall.

But growing old does beat the hell out of the alternative! Get the test.

Good Point Bill!
That's what my family dies of. Both Sets of grandparents, 5 uncles 4 aunts and my mom's had 8 feet of intestine removed to get the stuff. 3 ops in 4 yrs. Dad did so much chemo I doubt he'll ever have the same hair.
That's what's gonna get me. I get tested every 6 mos. Good thing I never had kids biologically. At least my son will have a chance.

I also hate green veggies now.:p Anything enforced is always a burden.:barf:

Thanks to all those who've written and advised me not to take chances. Appreciated.

Going to talk to the brother of an anaesthesiologist in a few days even before I go back to my regular doc in 2 weeks. Have him ask his brother who he would/wouldn't let work on him.

( also change my insurance beneficiary to a button man so in case I don't make it a certain cardiologist... well, you can guess the rest ) ;) ;) ;)
