(I am still haunted by the sardonic spirit of Max, the cat of 17 years. The kids and I got him at Chicago's Humane Society. Max had this attitude, see?)

I used to have a cat Cujo. She was a sweetie except when she had to have a bath. Then you had to grip her right behind the head or she'd bite you. Like you'd hold a poisionous snake. One time I lost my grip and she sunk her fangs down to the gums in the soft part between my thumb and finger.

She lived to be 14 and she had so much personality I still miss her. She loved to be talked to and would roll on her back with her feet in the air when you made over her. I have one like her now. My other Mr. Prissy came from an abusive home and was real standoffish and didn't like to be held at all. But now after a couple years living here in cat heaven he is coming around. He likes to come in and get under the covers on cold mornings and he'll just set under there and purr.

I like cats, but if the cat in the video did that to me, he would have an extremely small diameter neck as soon as my weightlifting arms would so reduce said neck's diameter... You're talking crisis situation here, my friend!

Poor cat. Looked like the guy was holding it and the cat wanted down. Then he kept pulling tighter on the cat and the cat thought the guy had bad motives.The leash just added to the cats feeling of being "not in control" and he freaked out.

I was helping an old lady move and picked up her cat. Her dog for some reason snapped at the cat and put it on the defensive. Then when I tried to put it in the box to move the cat thought I was working with the dog and ripped the hell out of me.

I love cats. I would rather be around cats than around people. We have three of them that live with us. I would like to have more. Maybe after we move to our new place, some more will move in.

A simple solution would have been for the agent involved to let go of the cat's leash; couldn't understand why he let the cat humiliate him. Cats are cool in that they haven't heard of unconditional love; it's up to them to decide!

Hey I know that I wouldn't like it any more then he does. Which is why I overlook the blood and scar issue that I have from both him and his brother. Oh and I would pay money to the person who could get one of those leash on The Bull short of shooting him first.

We have had many cats over the years, and several dogs. Each had his/her own personality. Current crop of 3C's and 1D are all strays or pound rescues. Their interaction is a gas. Newest cat likes to sleep on his back with feet in the air; chews paper at every opportunity; cries to be picked up; purrs when picked up; wants down in five seconds. My favorite cat wasn't mine. My buddy the newspaper writer had a male Persian who tipped (that's TIPPED) the scales at 31 friggin pounds! When he bumppd your leg to get attention, you stayed bumpped. "Bear" intimidated the hell outta' his German Shepard -- claws like daggers.

a 9 year old grey tabby named Guinevere. Nah, I love her to pieces but she can be a handfull. I keep asking the Mrs. if she wants to trade but she keeps saying No. Her cat is the one we fished out of traffic a year ago. Sweetest cat I've ever seen. Of course I love dogs, too. Our middle child is a 7yo Lab/Shar-pei mix named Rook. I'm justa sucker for the four leggeds.
