Sadly, I cannot carry in my state of residence (specifically, gun lovin' California), but when I am in a state that allows me to carry, my favorite CCW pistol is the Glock 33. I own a fairly wide variety of pistols, and the simplicity, accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of the Glock 33 makes it a winner, at least for my needs. I own three of them. Two are all-black, and one has an OD frame. Here are snapshots of the one with an OD frame:

I use Pearce PG-26XL "Plus Zero" magazine extensions, a factory 3.5lb connector, a trigger assembly with a smooth trigger face (the serrated trigger faces are not very comfortable, and are found on the compact and subcompact Glocks only to gain enough ATF points for importation), and night sights.

I use a Del Fatti ISP-SS IWB holster:

I'm not an official Hog, but I'd like to throw my .02 in anyway: Glock 29. Gotta love 10 rounds of 10mm in a package the size of a G19!

Nice rig Ken. I have a G36 I traded into recently and still haven't been out to shoot it yet. .357 sig ought to be one snappy round in that little gun.

Hi Ken,

Out of all my guns, I always go back to my HK USPc .45 for EDC. I wear it in an Alessi CQC, and use the factory flat mag floorplate for better concealment.

I have a full size G31 and its snappy for full size....that heater is a pocket rocket for sure... I was considering the 33 for edc, but, for me I had to go smaller so I orderd 2 seecamp .380s last week....nice piece

I tend to carry a G23, but have recently picked up a G27 for some Appendix-carry in warmer months. We'll see how it goes.

Great choice . Where I live in Fla really never gets cold so its a tee shirt or fishing shirt .I carry a Kimber ultra cdp ll custom shop or colt mustang (with black talons)can't see under tee shirt .I have carried same glock but to thick to cover .

Nice choice on caliber Ken. The .357 Sig has very impressive power potential. I have only shot the G32 in this caliber, how does the G33 handle for such a small frame.

Here is a shot of my favorite carry gun.

That .357 Sig is such a sweet round. I had a Glock 23 with different barrel sets and that had to be my fav. I've been thinking about one of the subcompact Glocks for a new CCW...

I'm sort of partial to my Kel-Tec P3AT for concealed carry because its just so gosh-darned east to carry. I figure a .380 that's actually in my pocket will be more use than the .45 I left at home.

You guys have great taste in gear.

Since, by the grace of GOD I live in Texas :D, and the politicians here seem to understand the meaning of "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED"... I have several "carry" guns (but not all at the same time... that would be really paranoid) ;)

In no particular order...

1. H&K PSP
2. Kahr PM9
3. Glock 27, 32, 19, 23
4. Wilson Combat Sentinel
5. Kel-Tec .32
6. S&W hammerless J frame

Sorry the pics are a little fuzzy... I am no Lunde! ;)

my wife saw these pics and wondered, "are these guys on the swat team, or commandos or something?" :-)

Nice, I'm thinking about picking up a 30SF if I can find one in the area. My main concern up here though is the 4 legged kind though.

Lunde,

How is that 33? I have a 32 and was curious to see how it compares..

How do you like the Kahr PM9? I am picking up my first two Kahr Arms pistols a week from tomorrow (gotta love the wonderful ten-day waiting period in California :thumbdn::thumbdn: ). One is a CW9, and the other is a K9 Elite. Depending on whether I like the polymer or steel frame, I plan to buy a PM9 or MK9 Elite later this year.

The Kahr is great. No problems to report. I read that the Kahr's may require a "break-in" period, so after purchasing it I went to the range and put 500 rounds down range without a single failure of any kind. They do like lube and most guys recommend not running them very dry.

It is a tiny pistol and is very easily concealed. I decided on the polymer frame over the steel frame due to weight. There is quite a difference in the two pistols.

I really like the CW9. It is a fantastic value for a high quality pistol. I'm thinking about getting one of those also.

Here is a pic of my chopped up .357... I really like the caliber and one of the great things about Glock is that you can purchase conversion barrels to shoot 9, 40, .357 from the same gun. I have had good luck with my storm lake 9mm conversion. It is cheaper too...

The G33 is definitely not uncontrollable. In fact, I enjoy shooting it. I have actually needed to use it a couple times in the field, to end the suffering of antelopes that my dad shot. One round to the neck, and the animal suffered no more. I tried .45 Auto once, and it took two rounds to do the same thing.
