OT/ Friction Folders?

Lycosa.....what do you do all day.......i'll be in town at Easter break.........i'll be looking for you Bro.......give me a call.......:thumbup:

Rolf is my uncle and we like a lot of the same knives, BUT...:D...I am not sure about the idea of a friction folder. Maybe because I have never tried one??? To me, it is not about the lack of a lock but the lack of anything really keeping the blade tight in the open position. Even a slipjoint takes pressure to close.

Maybe I am way off base here but wouldn't a friction folder fall closed on you if you are not careful? If this is not the case then my continued thoughts from this point are also invalid:D:D

Let me know the deal uncle:)

Intel440--- I'll be in the Poconos then! We'll catch up.
Kev--- You need to HANDLE a frickie. You'll like it... I tiiiink. :)

That's one of the nicest frickies I've ever seen!
Who made it and that for the pix D!

Thanks man! I made it last year and I've been using it since then, mostly to open Guinness bottles (Beannacht Lá Fhéile Pádraig!!!) and light cutting duty, which in a urban environment, is 95% of the tasks.
