Man oh man am I bored tonight:o

I don't mean to highjack this thread. Gravelface accomplished a very hard thing and we are all very happy for him. This question is not something any anatomy prof. would expect most medical students to get correct.

An "A" in Anatomy!! Congrats!! Well Done!! Hear- Hear!!

And Ill bet your girlfriend is most pleased. I mean knowing how things, well .......... ahem -- CONGRATS!!!

My guess: Liz Franck (or maybe that is something else).

Anyway, Gravelface, as a college professor (fortunately not of anatomy:) ) I know how much students sweat anatomy. Congratulations on doing so well in a very hard course.

The girlfriend is very pleased...the wife.....now that's a story for another time!

I believe the correct technical term is "The Pinky Toe." Named for Pinky Tuscadero. LOL

Jason - I say you practice the anatomy final on your significant other. Or. . . considering YOU'VE done all the work today, verse-vica.

I GOT AN A IN ANATOMY CLASS!!

I know this doesn't mean much for you folks, but I have been sweating this class since day one and I got an A.....I am dumbfounded .....I need to celebrate!!!

Go to Churchills on Jefferson Highway and get a nice cigar and a bottle of wine. Then have the wife cook you a fancy dinner. Then take the cigar and the bottle of wine over to the girlfriend's house.:D

I know this is completely Off Topic, but I was just too excited and had to share todays most exciting news!!!

By the way...after mass research I think I found the Bone in question.

Os Vesalianum

An accessory ossicle located at the posterior tip of the fifth metatarsal tuberosity is known as the os vesalianum. The presence of this ossicle is quite rare, and its size and shape may vary considerably. It typically presents as a small, rounded calcific density. It is best seen in the medial oblique view. Ossification of the peroneus brevis tendon and old, unhealed (nonunion) fracture of the tuberosity may look similar to the os vesalianum. This ossicle is not the same entity as the persistent fifth metatarsal apophysis (described next)

Not only did you get the answer right, but you found the description of the ossicle from my old radiology teachers webpage:eek:
