OT: Halloween Costumes?

I have to say that I am horrified at some of the costumes out there for little girls. I do not want to get into specifics or morals but what used to be found in the far corners of adult stores (not that I know anything about that ;)) are now showing up as being cute costumes for our children. :eek::confused:

It's a very sad and upsetting trend. It's also true with the costumes for the grown up little girls. Very few costumes aren't risque these days. What gets me is that even many of the tamer costumes for little girls (princesses, faeries, and non-provocatively dressed witches) aren't made for colder weather. That'd be no problem is Halloween was in early August, but not so helpful for late October. We lucked out in that our little princess can wear her regular clothes under her gown.

So what inspired you about the Go Gabba Gabba costume? It's definitely a winner! :thumbup:
 
That show scares me. Especially that green thing that dances around me. But my children watch it from time to time. That's when my nightmares are the worst. :eek::p

My wife and kids burned my Yo Gabba Gabba costume. :(

But next year I have a winner. Feast yer eyes. :D
