I saw that movie around 2 years ago in the cinema. *VERY* Artsy, but my dad didn't like it. He said it was a way too simple plot.
From the political perspective, it clearly illustrates the classic phrase "one mans terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"... I won't spoil it for you guys, but it really gives a whole new perspective to the entire period.....
From the MA-perspective, Donnie Yen blows everyone out of the water, IMOHO. He was raised in the US of A and speaks very acceptable english to boot! *AND* add to the fact that he's a martial artist, through and through (as opposed to Jet Li's Wushu Performance background) and one of the *BEST* spear/staff fighters onscreen.......
