OT: If You Could...

Only if I knew I absolutely could get away with it, and I would never be considered a suspect...;)

And now for the real question...

In any given situation ask yourself.....

"What would I do if I were not afraid?"

The proper course of action will become clear.

or the old zen saying:

"if not now, when?"

Ok just for kicks here's a koan:

"show me your original face before the birth of your mother and father" Now, If THAT doesn't make your head hurt a bit.....

I try to look at fear and bravery as the same . I have seen brave fools and wise prudent men . If you can learn that your body prepares you for the task you have ahead then the response you make is easier . I find a fearful reaction comes from those unused to having to respond to situations that may cause them harm .

I would advise caution. There are subtle twists here that are not obvious at first glance. Bad decisions will get you stoned. I know.

I'd want to, but I'd be afraid of the consequences, then I'd balance the benefits, and soon I'd be in the state of "paralysis by analysis" and then it would be too late and I'd regret my decision.

To answer Bob's question, I'd like to say I would, but i'd probably chicken out.
