OT kinda....Tomahawk in military...

DancesWithWolves, what model hawks did you get from 2hawks? I'm now considering getting a Competition, Longhunter, or possibly a Warhawk. What do you think?
 
and Angier co-authored a book. I couldn't find it earlier, but it finally turned up. It is entitled ON YOUR OWN IN THE WILDERNESS, copyrighted in 1958, my edition 1971. 330pp. Stories from 1901 from Whelen.

Fairly comprehensive, partially out-dated with practices and materials.

I still have this one around. But, I would be careful throwing it; it looks like a real pre-1840 axe head.
