OT: Military Wisdom

Thanks! I'll do that...my job takes me all over, usually hook up with Club Brothers, would be nice to do the same with ya'll too. I know a few of the *good* bars in the areas I hit...

LOL...That *is* the question, eh? Every good bar around here knows me too...and *I* don't know if that's a good thing or not! ;-)
 
The First Sergeant of my Guard unit had one of the "Murphy's Laws of Combat" posters on the wall of his office. (He was a good Top- former Marine, Sheriff's Deputy as a civilian, but a pretty easy-going guy. Took care of his people.) Many of the preceeding gems were on it that poster. Most of my favorites have been mentioned , but I also always liked: "Remember, your equipment was made by the lowest bidder." :eek: :D :rolleyes:
 
I was told this by my bootcamp company commander in 1982: The US Navy is effective at fighting wars because war is chaos, and chaos is a condition in which the US Navy operates on a daily basis.
