The Tomahawk/Warclub was the favored weapon of the TsaLaGi, Cherokee, or so I've been told.
I'm of the opinion that each warrior had his/her own favorite weapon as I doubt people have changed that much over the years.
There was a time that the bow would've been my favorite weapon, still might be if I was able to use one like I once did.
The 'Hawk/Warclub or knife would've been my favorite up close and personal weapon.
