Hi Gang. As you know, I live Emerson but, every once in a while I love to drop a good 'ole pocket knife in my pocket and this knife is the A. G. Russell Cowboy in Coral, Red, Rucarta. I just love this knife.
Does anyone else cheat?

If I cheat I bring the Emerson along. There is a little bit of jealousy. Usually its a Buck 501 that was a gift from my wife grandpa.

I have ONE non-Emerson folder, a Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Wharncliffe. It's not often I carry that in place if an Emerson but it happens occasionally.

Just started a new job in an office and I don't want all my dress pants to get shredded, so I cheat out of necessity. Spyderco Sage 1.

I used to wear a SERE 2000, then a Spyderco Para 2. Both knives were incredible as far as fit and finish. I still think that the Para 2 is the most knife you can buy for $105, an incredible design built right.

It's been nothing but an A-100 BT for several months though.

Thanks guys. It's ok to cheat, with knives. :)
My JCommander will be back in my pocket before noon.

Wilson Combat Umnumzaan (old pivot, S30V, no OTS), Brous Mini Division stonewash, and Double Action Sub-Hilt Spyderco Vallotton are the main interlopers, with the occasional Adamas 275 for when true folder abuse seems a possibility (that thing is ridiculously tough). Doesn't happen much.

I have a lot of other knives from Spyderco, ZT, Kershaw, Fallkniven, Boker, Benchmade, etc., as well as customs. They all end up being used at some point.

Except for my A-100, I dont carry my other Emersons to the office when I have to be there, and even then it's a little too big for the sheeple. Other knives like the Gayle Bradley Air, Speedform 2, or a traditional GEC are better received than most of my other knives. When out of the office though, anything goes. I do like to carry my Emersons more often than others, these days.

I like to carry all my knives but Emersons are my go to knife fo sho!
Recently my HD7 kicked all my other EDCs out of my pocket, she doesn't like to share love..:D

I have so many knives it's impossible to be true to only one, but I did take my Horseman away on vacation :)

The Emerson knife finds it's way to the No.1 spot. We KNOW why.
Yea, my HD7 will get the most pocket time when she comes home.

No, nothing but an Emerson will suffice for me. Good luck with that red cowboy though.

John- Oh, yes, I EDC an SnG also, at times. Tnx for the reminder. :D Nice pack there, btw.
I do love my Red Cowboy. I just ordered a Rancher which is the smaller version. For my collection. :)
Yer True Blue, newknif and I salute you!

The Cowboy and Rancher knives are both great. When I use the Cowboy knife I forget how inexpensive it was,
It's just so well made.

I work in NYC so I'm stuck carrying slipjoints all week.

I really was just breaking your horns about that because of the red knife thing. You my friend are true blue and deserve a salute as well.

lol! Thanks, Brothah. ^
JPD- Yes, the Cowboy and Rancher are a best bang for the buck. Thanks.

It's funny what different users do/don't like about a particular knife. I had a Wilson Combat Umnumzaan & never really liked it (I absolutely hated the thumb studs, it practically ripped the skin off my thumb to open it). There where a few other things I didn't like and I ended up swapping it for one of my Striders.
