Probably used a plastic-handled, snub nosed fillet/fish prep knife made of generic stainless that cost less than $15 and would be labeled a POS by any of the self-respecting knifeknuts trolling this forum.

You use the blade you have, and you don't need a $5,000,000 custom combat folder to get the job done. Maybe if they ban steel I'll have to go to EDC plan Q - a sharp rock.
