Sorry I've been scarce the last few days. My dad flew down on Friday to help me move and it's been a real whirlwind of activity all weekend. We just met Spectre and his girlfriend for lunch to wish him well and say goodbye, now I'm getting ready to pack up the computer. The U-haul truck is almost full, so we'll be leaving for PA at first light tomorrow and should arrive late in the evening. I'll update when we get back. Hope to have a safe trip and get back into the swing of things on Wednesday. Later all. :)

WOO HOO!! Roadrunner's getting out. Congrats my friend. I'll send some smoke for a safe trip home.

Congrats on getting out.
Thanks for your service.
It was great meeting you at Blade...maybe we can do it again.

It's good to see that you're a civvie again, thanks for your service, and glad they didn't tell you you couldn't leave when your time was up. 95 is a long highway, be careful out there. If you come through B'more, be careful on 83, it's an "interesting" highway. Where are you at in PA?

I'm guessing that when you read this, you will be safely at home, tell us about your trip ;).

Boot's dangling from the wires in front of the main gate?

I got out in '95, I was at Ft Lewis at the time. Buddy that I met my 1st day of basic got out with me and we road tripped back home to NC cross country in a '76 Impala. One of the best trips of my life. Start growing your beard, don't matter if the mask won't seal anymore!

Bummer, now you really have to work  :footinmou

Congrats and thanks for your time serving!! :D

Welcome Home Roadrunner, welcome Home!!!! :D

Is this your final out or can the bastards call you back?  :grumpy:

Welcome home:) Thank you for doing what most don't or won't. The service is losing one of the good guys, but bittersweet as it is they are getting John. It's because of people like you guys that most of us can sleep soundly and unafraid in our beds. It is something that we take for granted and occationally pass our buck of "discomforts" of war onto you. You have served well. Thank you, again:)

It has been a pleasure and privilege, brother.

Thank you for your kindness. It's greatly appreciated.

John

Enjoy the freedom! :D

Welcome home, RR.

What are your plans for the future now? I suggest taking advantage of the educational opportunities your service has earned for you. The "guvment" will pay for it. That's how I got through school.

Good luck what ever you do!
