Wow, I'm popular.

Thanks guys, I'm doubly happy to be home and reading through this thread. The trip home was uneventful but loooong. Turns out I have a LOT of stuff. The U-haul was overweight by about 1000 lbs and we were towing the Civic. It made things a bit 'interesting' through the mountains, to say the least. I never would have made it alone, it's a really good thing Dad came down to help.
Kismet; after what happened to Spectre just recently I should probably hold onto them for a little while. I have three years of inactive service left to go; I got one out of the way by doing the Delayed Entry Program my senior year of high school. Basically they saved me a spot. If the PA National Guard offers a stabilization policy soon and the bonuses go up, I may be back in uniform on a part time basis before long. We'll see.
Dan; let me at least unload the truck first! Sheesh.
Yvsa; see above.
Semper; oh yeah. I've already been accepted to Penn State's Erie campus, about 40 miles north of home. My brother has already done a semester there, so we'll be freshman together. We have a house lined up, roomates, the whole works. It's party time.
Yahmamin; I'm working on day 4 right now. I'll post pics once it's filled in a bit.
For all who said thank you, you guys are truly great. It was a privilege and something I am very proud to have done. Your support means more than you know to those in harm's way. I never had to deploy for some odd reason, I guess my number just never came up (although I was in Korea for a year). Still, knowing all of you are there to back us up means a lot to those in uniform. You made it all worthwhile.
