OT: prayers please

for my Uncle Joe's swift recovery. Thursday night he was pitching in league softball when he took a line drive to the throat. Broke his adam's apple in 6 or 7 pieces and tore the muscles around his voice box. He had surgury on Friday night, they pieced together his adam's apple and voice box with titanium. They say he'll be able to speak again but his voice will probably not be the same and he will have to go to speach therapy. For the next week they'll be feeding him through a tube in his nose and I don't know how long he'll have to have the trach (sp?) tube in place. Haven't slept much the past few days, running ragged. Have a friend who went thru the same type injury. He recovered and his voice is certainly different and his wife thinks it's "very sexy". Good luck to your Uncle's speedy recovery...thoughts and good will from here.
