And I *Wonder* just what other kinds of very useful information may be just laying around waiting for someone with "hook and/or crook" tendencies to unearth for the edification of the rest of us.

Screwdrivers and (some) wrenches are L6 or S2
Cold Punches are A2 or 01
Bicycle spokes and streetsweeper bristles are 1095 (Make excellent lockpicks if you are so inclined )
Nail sets are L6
Hammers are L6 or a 10- series steel
Hayrake teeth are 1095
Router bits are M2
Drift punches are L6 or S7
Harrow disks and most other plow share like objects are 1080
Music wire is 1085

Also, human saliva makes a beautiful rainbow patina on High Carbon steel.
