OT - Snapped my ankle again !!

I've got a plate in my left ankle Brendan, similar situation, up the town, few beers and bump down the stairs. I was back at work after 5 weeks (on light duties) and back to normal after about 8. I still limp on really cold mornings (the plate's seem to go with the weather...strange feeling) - hope you get well soon mate.
 
Yeah - i have a plate and 8 screws in my right ankle from rugby and it deffiently is more sore with cold weather !!!

I know have 8 screws in the left and a plate now so god help me next winter !!

Are these plates and screws magnetic reactive? Or some alloy? I can just see you going through a metal detector. And what happens if you ever need an MRI?

Hope you get up and around soon Brendan. No ankle problems here, just knees in my family. Not sure which one is worse. Take it slow and best wishes for a quick healing process.
