My girlfriend surprised me by coming by for lunch and bring me food, my favorite cookies, and a Snow Peak Ti Spork. Thankful? Yes.

Well, of course, immediately after eating soup with it, I had to try my hand at putting some color into it.

Not having a torch of any kind, my only option was to go to the stove. I sanded the handle down to 600grit, polished it with some 0000 Steel wool and cleaned it up with some rubbing alcohol and went at it.

Obviously, it would probably look better if I had a torch, but I'm extremely happy with it. And as many people have said, the pictures can't do the coloration justice.

Enjoy, and experiment...you might surprise yourself.

Looks cool! How 'bout a picture of your girlfriend next time?

Does the anodization add any weight? Could make a diff when you try to climb Everest with that sucker! :D

Big upgrade from the plastic sporks I have experienced.
