There is no doubt that ti is a more robust material than aluminum, and when it is alloyed with aluminum, vanadium, and/or nickel it gets even better. I have no idea what alloy of ti (it might even be commercially pure ti, its far cheaper; China and Russia export oodles) is used to make cookwear. I'm not saying that anyone shouldn't buy a ti pot if they want one, that would be silly.
That's like saying that I can't get another sharp pokey thing if I want it
