Inspite of Tony's advice, I went with Clinchers.

What's with the goofy handlebars?

And those don't look like Campagnolo components.

Looks FAST....

Some day maybe we sould trade one of my short cage rear deraileurs for that long one you have. I could use it for cross and you'd be more areo.

Well, if you have a new one we can, it is still new and it is Record of course. Send me yours I will relace it and send you mine. I had got the long cage, because I was going to not have a shifter in the front and opt for a larger cassette (13-29), but at the last minute I had decided to have one.

Wash, it is all Campy Record/Chorus. Chorus Cassette, Chorus Carbon Cranks, Record Drl's and shifters. Carbon Frame, fork, wheels, stem and Handlebars (EC90)

I admit I do not know what this means.

But it sure sounds cool.

And fast!:D

They fooled me. I guess I'm old school, I remember when it was all steel and aluminum. My bike has components from about '96.

So, what does it weigh?

When you put on some pedals, tell us how it rides.

I'll weigh it tonight and let you know, but it feels as light as my Look KX which is 16 lbs. That is good for a TT bike.

I like heavy TT bikes 18-19 lbs... they don't blow all over the place at speed.

But then Cobalt don't go that fast anyway:p

Well, your 18-19 lbs bike plus your 150 lb weight versus my 16 lb bike and my 200 lb weight. Hmmm, I don't think the wind will be blowing me much:D

Well, I am dissapointed it weighs 16.5 lbs. I was hoping it would hit just under 16, but considering I am using CLINCHERS, that is excellent.

Now if I was only fast enough to deserve it.

Downhill, son, ain't no way your beating me downhill. I use to race downhill mtb bikes. Plus my 200 lbs will easily outrun you. You will pedal to keep up with me. Now when we go uphill, I will say good by and let you go on while I watch.

Wash, yes, Once I put my pedals(my SS Speedplays) on there, I'll let you know.

Notice I wrote "down a Mt" those roads usually have turns; and how fast you get around them is what makes the difference. If you have too much momentum (mass) you have to break earlier and longer and end up going slower. I think he best weight for getting down a hill is about 160-170.

Oh!!! and less than 1% should be brain matter. :p

Oh it's on now!
You think both of you can get your bikes to Blade next year:D

EDIT- nevermind...that would only prove who was the fastest while drinking
