OT: Venting some anxiety.

WOW! that just crazy!! I'm really happy there all going to be OK. Mike ,Thank God for looking over them.
Better days to come! bro

Our prayers go out to them and you!

Although if they survived that wreck with no injuries, they don't need our prayers! They are protected from UP ON HIGH! :D

God Bless the USA and our Armed Forces around the globe!

Thank You everyone! The kids are truly lucky and obviously blessed. The truck driver didn't run them off intentionally, but you know how it is dealing with insurance claims:grumpy: .
It is hard to get all the details since it is so soon after the accident, but the hospital apparently released them to follow up medical attention at Port Huron.
Still, good sign that they were released. Pretty banged up, but alive! There are worse alternatives.;)
Again, Thanks for letting me vent and sending your best wishes!

if they need anything while they are here, even if it's just info like resturants & stuff let me know, i'll help if i can.

Thank God they are OK...

All else doesn't make much difference.

Best Regards,
Tony G

Glad to hear they are okay and didn't recieve worse injuries. Did the seat belt snap? If the seat belt broke, I would see about receiving some $$$ from the auto maker if they can't afford the medical bills. Could be the seat belt was defective.

Like everybody said  Best wishes and God bless to your family!

Whewww, Mike - As bad as this event with your boy, daughter-in-law and her sister started out, these are the story outcomes we want to hear. You oughta concentrate on getting some good sleep tonight, bro!

Holy $hit!!! Bro I'm so glad everyone is ok. I have 4 kids and I shudder to thnik what I would do if we lost another one....I know that my wife wouldn't be able to cope with another loss of a child. She's still getting over the loss of her 19 old boy.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family...hopefully the rest of the trip will be safe and enjoyable.

Solstice, I am sorry to hear about your familys loss. I have six kids, with 2 at home currently. I couldn't even fathom the loss of one of them. I wish your family the very best.

Thank you very much folks for all your kind responses and understanding for me posting in this forum. The kids made it to Port Huron yesterday after a short stay in Chicago (I warned my son about carrying there:thumbup: )
The daughter-in-law has had to be CAT scanned in each major city along the way, checking for internal bleeding, but has checked out alright internally so far. Her sister lost a lot of skin, almost all of the skin on her feet and is on her way to therapy for psych trauma. They all sustained back injuries to some degree and have been granted chiropractic care for life. The folks on the HollyHock have been very good to them and they are on the mend. And most importantly, they are still among us.

Thanks again for all the support!

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear everyone is doing well for the most part. If you need anything, even if it's just to "vent", feel free to drop me a pm or email me at aaronjayl1979 at yahoo dot com and give them my continued best wishes for a thorough and speeding recovery.

Mike,

Thank God your family is safe!!!. . . Our prayers are with you and your family!

Jerry and the rest of the gang here at Busse Combat

Thank You everybody, your well wishes mean a lot! Just doubled up on promising news. My oldest is coming back to the states to record an album, rather than head down to Oaxaca. I have to figure out what knife is going to be these boys "kept my a$$ out of a sling" blade.
