This is from Mark's thank you thread. If you guys don't find it anything close to knife making, I guess it can just get moved into some other forum somewhere. Here's what Mark said:
So here's me getting off my rear end. Warning, though you aren't going to see any knives, but provided you like girls, I make up for that. Trust me on this.
Frankly, I'm not really ready to show anyone around these parts a knife or frankly anything that cuts, so here's a little glimpse of my life as a jeweler/object maker/fashion guy in the world. I regret that I still haven't scanned in my sculptural work from the days before hi-res digital cameras, All the best shots are on slides. I know, right? So scanning that stuff will have to be a project for a different day. It's a shame, really because that's by far my best stuff.
So, on with the show.
Here's an project/article I wrote for craft magazine on how to make an oversized copper button. Keep in mind that this project is written for people who have never done anything like that, (like textile artists) but is pretty rudimentary for anyone who has a machine/knife making background.

Here is a line of jewelry made from sterling, stainless and hand cut acrylic. (By the way, everything I'm showing you was made directly by my hand or, in the case of the clothing, designed and made mostly by The Ex but with my collaboration.)

My biggest all-time seller from 2004-07 was absolutely my leather and stainless Cross-Post Wrist Cuff. Sold a shit-load of these things and even moved to get a patent on the design. It was one strap of leather with strategically placed holes and a stainless pin that held the whole thing together. Very popular with the indie/punk crowd that would come to the craft and fashion events I showed at.
Here's a couple in action:
And here's the Choker version. The model was like a punk version of Uma Thurman. My god, I developed a crush on her INSTANTLY.
Hey Los Angeles,
I know you make cool stuff. So when do we get to see some photos?
