He seems to have given up when his 'plan' didn't work and the other guy didn't cave in... once he started backing up - it didn't work any more for Mirko... Well, That, and Congo fought like a Lion... :)

Damn... I need to find a buddy that has cable to watch the UFC. I always have to watch reruns or recordings :o

Mirko Crocop is a pretty badass striker. He has that head thumppin Round House kick! But he needs to work on his ground game. So how did he get beat?
 
Congo did look like he could beat anyone tonight. That's one thing I like about it...you just never know

This next fight is the one I've been wanting to see for a while...about to start.
I like them both...it should be a good one!

G19G26 & I are trying to watch it, but the storm is knocking the satellite out. Don't have DVR to record either.

Congo took his punches, kicked the crap out of Mirko, slammed Mirko, punched Mirko, owned Mirko - just asserted his will against Mirko. :)


BTW - Hamill is surprising with his stand up out of the gate, we'll see if it lasts... My goodness, Hamill is strong... :eek:

Hamill looks like he's ready for a title fight...he's improved his stand up so much he looks like a diff fighter.


Oh wait- what a bullcrap call...had to be the hometown judges.

I agree - Hamill has really improved! The man is as strong as an ox, too - he was tossing Bispig around like a rage doll a couple of times... amazing.

The call wasn't what I expected, either... :( :thumbdn:

I was rooting for Bisping, but Hamill kicked his ass! That wasn't even close! Talk about a rigged call, that was BS.

I mean come on, anyone who saw that fight knows that Hamill won. If they want the sport to grow they have got to get a hold of the corruption now.

I agree, Hamill won that fight for sure. Where were the judges from? Bisping is tough, but Hamill took him down a few times and his stand up was superior.
Fixed fight .... very sad.

Yep, Rampage won, but Henderson gave him a fight for it! :)
