OTF Pocket Lightsaber now available

Will this one also toast bread as you slice it (jump to ~1:05)?

I haven't tried it. This lightsaber is in "like new" condition with the original box and paperwork.

Based on what I have seen from other models it should toast as it slices. If you want "dark toast" then you will probably need to get a red crystal. This one is likely to only give you light toast.

I usually use the Sith technique of making synthetic crystals for my lightsabers. I do have to wonder about the glass breaker on the bottom. Why not just cut through the glass with the blade?

I don't like the gold plated finish on it, I prefer electrum like Dooku and Palapatine's sabers.

The Sith technique is sound, but we prefer natural crystals. They are after all, more stable. We find that the extremely hot blade tends to melt the glass instead of break it. Sometimes you just need a glass breaker for "tactical entry."

True, and a blow to the temple with the glass breaker is more discrete than using the blade.

What???
You guys aren't buying one:confused::eek:

Uhhhh. Would this be the right thread to ask when the folding Izula will be up for pre-order?

....or... not?

We do not have a current release date from ESEE on that knife, so we haven't started a pre-order. Generally, we do not offer pre-orders on knives that do not have firm release dates.

I disagree with this. Naturally occurring crystals have inclusions and other imperfections from the natural crystallization process.

Synthetics all the way for me.
