I wasn't quite sure where to put this thread, so I put it here. I was wondering what other hobbies and activities you participate in. Myself, I shoot small note competition rifle, as well as shoot skeet ( actual skeet shooting in a skeet field, not the generalized term if skeet as in shooting sporting clays.). I am also in Boy Scouts and go camping frequently and go on backpacking trips.

What are your hobbies and adventures?

Riding my WR250R through the back country heh. Next year ill be taking it to Labrador. Its so fun I sometimes wonder if it should be illegal hah

I play soccer, video games, and do some gardening. Grew a 300# pumpkin this year!

Gardening, raising chickens, fishing, hiking, shooting, & photography are enjoyable past times for me.

Photography, Shootin', ridin' my 85 venture everywhere, fixin'/buildin' cars and bikes, writin' everythin' from poetry to song lyrics, auctions, fleamarketin', basically anything that can occupy my disturbed mind.

Because I've been a mechanic most of my life, I enjoy all kinds of home repairs, I spend a lot of time helpin' my friends with their homes and cars.

hiking, fishing hunting of course archery (but that;s all bushcraft to me.) I also enjoy martial arts, fitness, playing guitar, and spending time with the fam.

The list is far too long to list them all, but now that it is gettin wintery,,
Ice fishing, snow shoeing, iceboating in my DN, and getting ready for spring activities.

Bowhunting and archery are my faves behind bushcraft.

If everyone got outdoors the world would be a better place!

Motorcycling (street), gardening, reading, cooking (bbq), a little shooting, and a bunch of generally outdoorsy stuff (hiking, camping, etc). I've also been known to play with knives.

I disagree. Let the sedentary slugs stay in the home; this leaves more room for us to play.:D

Funny how that works. I think more people should get outdoors, yet the last thing I want to see outdoors is other people.

Bushcraft isn't one of my hobbies, but I enjoy hiking/backpacking, some tame rock climbing and kayaking, plus rappeling. I haven't gotten to do any real MTB trails, but have been riding my mountain bike several times per week.
Considering whitewater kayaking, and would get serious about photography if I had the time and money. Some family members are starting a website and magazine for promoting tourism locally, and have asked me about doing articles and pics of local outdoor activities, which should be fun, even if it means doing some shorter and more family-oriented stuff. May have to do some spelunking for that, which is also right up my alley, since I'd be doing technical canyoneering if I didn't have to travel so far to do it.

Tricky one, still a bit like the “what music do you listen to question”. Although insufficient I tend to go with what was at the top of the stack from the last few days..................Workshop wise I've been meddling with a couple of old Webley and Scott airguns; one pistol and one rifle. Jut binned off a Super Cat stove project that failed – Sigg bottle too big and it didn't pressurize nicely. Been playing with some technology from 18**, and it still takes about a week to turn a bolt I can buy down B&Q for 50p ...................Computer play: Working on another Android app with an amigo. Knocked up a few digital images. I'm not into photography for a bunch of reasons, but I do like taking photos and try to make memorable stuff from them. I read a lot of computer stuff when I'm high; security, forensics, bunch of other stuff that I wouldn't want to list for a day let alone the last ten days. I squeeze a lot of forums in when I'm all White Widow too, and play games both PC and Xbox. Last night I kicked off Max Payne on PC..........................Outdoors: Just completed a 7+ trip so I'm in idle mode. Did a very gentle race round Go Ape with a guy 15yrs my junior. Still getting out on the tredder most days, and that usually allows me to harvest some photos for image manipulation too. I shall be horse riding tomorrow afternoon. A couple of days ago my woman announced that she wanted me to do hang gliding with her. That seems unlikely because I doubt it is something I can dib in and out of, and I haven't got a space for a proper commitment. I expect she'll call me in to go and support her imminently though. If I don't do that I'll probably do a bit of surfcasting.

Photography, Parkour, playing the guitar, cycling (inner city, single speed) and building and maintaining bycicles for myself and friends. In the summertime, I build and ride longboards (the concrete kind, not the water kind), and I like everything outdoor related. Even if it's just for a few hours in the afternoon, getting out of the city is always good for me.

I'm glad to see that so many of you have responded to this already, seems like there are a lot of differences, but many similarities among us forum dwellers
