I know you all like Busse Combat Knives, but besides that what other Hobbies do you have.
In my spare time I enjoy training in the Martial Arts, I've been doing this for about 6 years now. I also love flying, but don't have as much time to do it as I would like. Some of my other activities are Hunting and Trapping and outdoor activities of most any kind.
So what do you do to relax??

Rock climbing, travel, the fixer-upper house I bought (does it count as a "hobby" if you're nagged into doing it?) and high end two channel audio.

Outdoor Photography, handguns and long rifles, reloading, statagy wargames, history.
mountain biking when I'm not injured (it takes longer to heal when your not in your teens years)

Like the topic...

I hike at least once a weekend. I like to backpack as well when I get the chance. I love collecting my pistols and rifles. I enjoy the heck out of 9ball. My real passion (and hopefully one day a source of income) is writing. I have written several screenplays and keep submitting them here and there. One day, who knows??? I enjoy my mountain bike, white water rafting, and yes even volleyball.

Not enough time in the day...

My wife says I have too many hobbies, but what I really don't have is enough time for them all.

caving (there's a ton of them in southern Indiana)

mountain biking (which we commonly refer to to as "Crop Riding" here in Indiana)

camping

rock climbing ( very rarely since the only hills around here are landfills)

My Rifles...shooting...hunting

Preparedness equipment..you can't have enough, and it seems to take forever to find just the right equipment for that "bug out bag". Just when you think you have all you need, someone comes out with something stronger, or lighter, or just better in general.

Just bought a motorcycle (Honda Shadow A.C.E. 750) which has consumed most all of my time lately. That and fighting with my wife over whose going to take it where...we're going to need two of them, I can see that already.

Playing with my dogs...always a good time.

If a hobby is something you enjoy doing to relax, then just coming home from work and being with my wife, who graciously sacrifices most of the things she wants so I can afford the things I want, is my favorite hobby of all.

Good topic.

Fishing is my main passion. (I even have a tattoo of a trout on my arm.)

Hunting North American big game and upland bird hunting with my pointing lab.

Motorcylces, dirt and road

Mountain and road biking

Shooting

Since it is near Fourth of July, Fireworks. I have a huge display every year up at the lake. Everyone gets in their boats and watches from the water. I try not to get burned.

Playing with my kids is the most fun of all.

nah!!

I have had many hobbies over the years, but I don't do all of them now.
My most favorite hobbie is hunting. I will hunt anything, anywhere, anytime. Target practice would be next. I get an incredible sense of peace and relaxation when I shoot a gun. Next would be riding motorcycles, however, I don't have one right now, and my wife hates them more than my guns and knives.
Coaching my son's baseball team is very fulfilling, even when we loose.
Playing computer games, programming, doing web sites and fixing the darn things when they break down. This is what I went to school for, and I get to do this every day at work. The company I work for installs DDC (Direct Digital Controls) systems which control enviornmental systems in large and small buildings (actually highly glorified thermostats run by computers).
Then comes reading. I read the Bible & theology books, computer books, gun books, knife books, fighting books, forums, and anti-government type things like how not to pay taxes legally.
I also love to eat!!! Ice cream, is ice cream a hobbie. I love ice cream.

Hey Guys, since we all seem to share the same interests, why don't we start our own country? We are quickly becoming the minority in our current.

We here in Nebraska, would like to become a sovereign nation. We don't mind calling it "Jerry's World" just as long as we can keep calling our football team the "HUSKERS" and were red on Sat. for the games.
Come one, come all...and bring your Busses's!!!
All hail President Busse!!!

P.S. Did I mention my second religion was Husker football?

Other Hobbies?????
After owning a Busse???
Isn't that like asking: is there life after [pizza], or something like that? [fill the blank in here.]
Ok, ok...
Knife sharpening.
Trail-clearing.
Hedge & bush Cutting.
Making Kindling. (for next year.)
Making Tinder. (ditto.)
Snare-making practice.

Ok: non-knife related: Mountain Biking; Rock Climbing if i can get it: Tree Climbing when i can't; martial arts, with & without weapons; puttering in the workshop making things or ruining them; playing with Madelyn, our one-year age daughter(!); & of course: reading spiritually edifying books! All of these things help reduce the stress...

VAN: ice cream?
Hmmm. Yeah, i guess that's a hobby,
If it helps ya "chill out"
wink.gif

DAN: Yeah, let's all inhabit a south sea island & start over on nation-making: America sure has come off her moorings.
