KAI is blowing the others out of the water on information supply, but has anyone found anything else?

Rick Hinderer is doing a collaboration with Kabar on their TDI series, and they have a neck knife collab with Snody.

Ontario is now making assisted RAT's with G10 scales. They also have a few other new knives coming out but information is sparse. One is an ood style Utilitac that's assisted, and another being a new Joe Pardue design.

Benchmade has a new composite scale formula that machines like G10 but looks like wood.

That new Benchmade 940-1 looks very interesting, carbon fiber handle, blue standoffs and s90v blade.

Am I seeing things ? It looks like the Rat folder has a seperate lock on the side...

From what I heard on a video, Benchmade's new material that looks like wood, is Dymondwood. It's nothing new. Buck has used the product for years. Theirs does have a different look to it. It does look cool though

I want the new Maxpedition fixed blades that are clones of MadDogs. That is it for me. keepem sharp

PS Someone let me know when and where I can score one of the drop points.

Anyone have pics of that new Buck knife? Forgot the name, supposed to have 154cm and a bearing system with some kind of a new lock.

Is it the 830 Marksman? That is the only knife that doesn't say it will have 420 on it. Plus it has some SLS lock?

The new RAT is A/O so that is a safety.

Thanks. I just went and looked at Ontarios website, in the 2014 catalog and found them. I also just re-read the OP's post, and saw where he clearly stated it is an AO :o
Guess I need to pay a little more attention when I am reading lol... :D

I wish it wasn't A/O. (That's what Kershaws are for...) I like the G10, and I love the RATs. If it wasn't for the A/O I would be buying another 1 and a 2.

Did anyone see the new Gerber line? They use 154CM and S30V and are made in the US. The parts all sound good, but the knives didn't look too high of quality. I did kind of like that small fixed blade though.

Are they really trying here or is it a marketing ploy?

The fixed blade does look good. I'd agree with you there. I wish they'd start making some of their non-tactical knives here in the US (I guess they might, but I haven't seen any)......... And I really wish they'd get rid of the Bear Grylls crap.

The 2014 Columbia River catalog is available for downloading at their website.

The first 2014 catalog from Boker is available for downloading at their website. (They do two catalogs a year.)

The new SOG knives can be seen at the following link:

http://www.sogknives.com/new.html

Surprisingly this year so far, Cold Steel is holding back any new product info. (Usually they are one of the first companies to post their new products.)
