Other knives like the GEC #15 caplifter?

I want a GEC #15 with a caplifter, but I'm always to late and someone else buys the ones that pop up.

What other knives are out there with a single blade and a caplifter on the same side? Preferably at a lower price than the #15.

I can't help with "same side" but I have gotten good mileage out of a Victorinox Bantam, myself.

Victorinox Alox Cadet, Pioneer, and Farmer have caplifters and are cheaper.

Depending on how much "character" you like in your knives, you can get some really interesting ones on that great big auction site.

I picked this up for under 10 bucks. It's actually a great little knife.

Alox! … not on same side but a worthy knife if you can’t find a 15 with caplifter:

….as much as I love my Alox, there is no substitute for a 15 with a cap lifter…they are my knife passion, a sample with 2013 at top to 2014, 2015, and ending with a custom 2016.

Like tejasandre said, take a look at the Lionsteel Jack or (my preference) the upcoming Lionsteel Barlow Caplifter for some options… but cheap isn’t a word I’d use to describe either.

I think Boker makes a couple. The swell end jack has a cap lifter on the opposite side. There is also a boker red shield razor jack with a cap lifter on the same side that is inexpensive. You can also find vintage ones of various makes if you search around. Here’s one that I put new covers on:
